Possessor, provenience: the manuscript was produced in Florence in the first half of 1489, at the expense and under the supervision of Filippo Valori, in the circle of Marsilio Ficino; the fate of the volume after the death of Matthias Corvinus is unknown; it was acquired between 1623 and 1627 by Augustus II, Duke of Brunswick (r. 1635-1666)
